(December 11, 2009) The Gallatin Police Department has a new mascot – Taser the Crime Cat. Taser was created exclusively for the Gallatin Police to work with children and visit schools. If you have a children’s program and would like Taser to visit, please contact the Gallatin Police Department at 452-1313 and ask for either Lt. Troup or Sgt. Vahldiek.
(December 11, 2009) More than 100 people packed the Gallatin Library for the City’s first Tuba Christmas last night. Seventeen tuba players – young and old
– from across the county performed under the direction of Phil Waters of
Station Camp
High School. Also performing were singers directed by James Story of
Vol

(December 9, 2009) The Howard Harmony Select Choir from
Howard Elementary School performed throughout
Gallatin today, including Gallatin
City Hall. The Choir is led by Laura Edwards.
(December 5, 2009) More than 90 children got their Christmas a bit early this year thanks to the City of Gallatin’s Shop with a Cop/Firefighter annual event. Donations and fundraisers underwrite the shopping at Walmart. Both Santa and the Chik-Fil-A cow visited the children. In addition to Gallatin Police and Firefighters, others helped the children shop including the Sheriff’s Department, EMA, District Attorney’s Office, First Baptist Winchester, and Beech High School Students.
