City of Gallatin - Finance Department

Charged with accurate and timely reporting of all financial information for internal and external customers, the Finance Department provides an array of important services. Finance prepares the City of Gallatin’s internally used financial reports, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), and prepares and monitors the City's annual budget. Finance is also responsible for the centralized payroll and accounts payable systems. In addition to maintaining the integrity of the City's financial records and transactions, Finance ensures the proper and efficient expenditure of City funds and collects and analyzes information to provide short and long term projected impacts of national, state, and local decisions on the City's financial stability.
