City of Gallatin - Office of Information Technology

Ensuring the consistent, effective and secure flow of information is the mission of Gallatin’s Information Technology Division. The IT Division provides and supports WAN/LAN for remote City facilities connecting to City Hall and the Internet access provided by City Hall through WAN. Email technologies for City staff are maintained by IT as well as the support, maintenance, and infrastructure of the City website. The City’s system of PCs and servers, with related hardware, appliances and software, are supported by IT. In addition, the IT office coordinates GIS and base mapping activities; assists in analyzing data through GIS; and producing maps for routine and special projects.
