Gallatin Police Department

One reason residents of Gallatin enjoy such a high quality of life is because the Police Department is on the job--seven days a week, 24 hours a day.  It is not only the Police Department’s duty to respond to crime and disorder events but to provide a greater awareness of how these events happen and how to prevent them.  The Police Department achieves this by actively going into the community and speaking to groups and individuals.  Since the Police Department firmly believes that communication is a two-way street, it encourages citizens to become “active citizens” by working with the department in preventing crime and disorder.
