Recycling bins that had been stationed in the parking lot of the Gallatin Police Department have been moved to the City’s Hancock Street warehouse for better convenience and use.  The bins are in the front parking lot of the warehouse on Hancock Street which is the building next to the Gallatin Public Utilities office.  There is a bin for newspapers, a bin for magazines and a bin for both steel and aluminum cans.

“We encourage people to take their recyclable items to the bins,” Mayor Jo Ann Graves said.  “This new location offers a more convenient opportunity for use and hopefully will allow more people to take advantage of recycling these specific products.”
